2020/2021 Homeschool Year Math Game Picks and Resources for Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade

This upcoming homeschool year my kids will be in 4 math grades. You read that right!

My 4 year old finished out the 2019/2020 school year having finished 3/4 of PreK Math, and my daughter finished out the 2019/2020 school year having finished Singapore Math K, the 1st grade math standards, and 3/4 of Singapore Math 1.

So as you can see… the math that my kids are in isn’t that straightforward. Meaning Will, the 4 year old, will be working on PreK math standards, and beginning K standards with Wild Math K and Singapore Math PreK and K. My daughter Ellie, age 6, will be working on finishing Singapore Math 1, starting 2nd grade math standards, and starting Singapore Math 2 and Wild Math 1 and 2.

We plan on piecing together math to use over this summer (July and August 2020), and using the “Unit study” format to do math this next homeschool year!

This means we won’t be working from front to back of the textbook- we will be jumping around (a few different grade levels actually) and completing the math standards topic by topic, theme by theme!

Below I have compiled what topics/themes we will be doing each month from September 2020-May 2021 for the PreK/K standards and 1/2 standards that we have remaining!!
